Analyst: Don't Rule Out PS3 Price Drop in '07... Yet

Yes, the PS3 is quite an expensive console, but there's still a chance that Sony may cut the price in 2007. Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian believes that it's too early to rule out a price reduction. A price cut or enhancements may be coming to the PSP as well.After Sony announced its earnings today, revealing over 5 percent decline in profits for Q3 and losses at its game division of around $440 million, Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian noted that it may be premature to discount a price drop for the PlayStation 3 this year.
