THQ step back into the Octagon

THQ have announced that they have recently signed a licesning deal with UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), which will last until 2011.

The deal, which was made for an undisclosed sum, allows THQ the rights to develop and publish games based on the UFC franchise for the next few years. Previous games have been made on the UFC franchise, and met with a lukewarm reception from the gaming press, presumably beause UFC wasn't the massive, multi million pound franchise it is now, back then.
