The IBM Cell processor is a beast of a powerhouse but developers have yet to figure out how to tap into its power. Like a hidden jewel developers stare at the chip with awe and a bit of fear. Yet, you don’t have to be Indiana Jones to steal the wealth of power within the Cell. You just need some guidance and training.IBM and Vivendi Universal Games along with High Moon Studios and Radical Entertainment will host a session for Vivendi’s game developers in order to educate them on creation of games for the PlayStation 3 game console and more efficiently use the Cell processor.
