I was frantically searching for an online solution to backup tons of files I had downloaded on to my machine. There were pictures, music files and live music videos among the files that I wanted to back up. I tried Carbonite, but it did not allow uploading videos bigger than 2GB. With MediaMax there was a whopping 25GB of space for free, but I can’t download more than 1GB a month. I abandoned that also.

I am trying IBackup now and it looks like a hassle-free online backup solution. It’s cool to find that IBackup does not impose any limit on uploads or downloads. Plus there is the freedom to share big files with others. You need to just create sharable links and then email these links to colleagues and friends. You can even allow ‘private sharing’ of your account with another IBackup user.

If you think IBackup is just another online backup solution, then you are wrong. IBackup is much more than an online backup solution. Because I’ve found that IBackup offers hot backup solutions for running MS Exchange servers, MS SQL servers and even have technologies to perform brick level Exchange server backup.
