'Metroid Prime' Developers On Pushing The Wii
Saturday
Mark Pacini, game director talks with Mtv.com about the development of Metroid Prime 3 on the Nintendo Wii.He speaks about the concerns that they had with the control system and how much detail and hard work they put into making sure that they really pushed the graphics to a never before seen level on the system.
Also he stated that as good ad Metroid Prime 3 looks graphically the Nintendo Wii still had power to spare.
Todd Keller, (Art Director) said,
"We don't have a lot of depth with shader stuff, but we can make really good color palettes." Keller, who has been overseeing art in the "Prime" series, said the system can graphically surpass the achievements of "Prime 3," noting "you can definitely do more stuff that will be way beyond that."Very interesting read.
