HD-DVD's exclusivity of Transformers jeopardizes the sequel?
Tuesday
Everyone has been eagerly awaiting the release of the mega summer blockbuster "Transformers" on DVD and HD-DVD.If you have not already heard that the movie is not coming to Blu-ray you must have been hiding under a rock for the past 3 months. Needless to say that this has made thousand of Blu-ray supports very unhappy. However it appears that, according to Game Informer's October 2007 issue number 174, Michael Bay, the films director, is very unhappy with this decision as well.
How unhappy you ask? Apparently unhappy enough to threaten to pull out of doing the sequel altogether if the movie is not published on the Blu-ray format as well. However the article says that Michael's ultimatum only lasted one night before he came to his senses and backed off his threat completely.
